A high-quality landmark building that responds to the complex characteristics of the site and forges a strong link between the town’s history and dynamic forward thinking future. The proposal has four cornerstones: provision of considered, high-quality homes for Luton’s growing population; a mediating role between a busy intersection and a Conservation Area; the articulation of a distinctive ‘gateway’ to the town centre; and a building that is distinct and highly specific to its Luton setting.
