22 – 24 Ely Place, London

Mid-town niche…

Like many commercial properties across the UK, Ely Place was confronted with the realities of a substantially changed workplace following the pandemic – shifting work patterns, ESG, EPCs, lease flexibility, to name but a few.

The project brief invited GTH to address this ‘new world’ and as far as possible within the constraints of the building’s existing fabric. The host building along with an idiosyncratic ‘mid-town’ location, suggested a scheme of high quality that would appeal to media and legal business.  GTH’s response offers a solution that is intended to appeal to a broad range of tech savvy organisations in search of flexible, ‘plug and play’ environments for work and collaboration.

The scheme involved the enlargement, and representation of the entrance foyer and a wholesale refurbishment of the ground, first, second and third floors.
