Standout Storage

The Access High Wycombe project has a long and challenging history of navigating client need, Planning and Council aspirations, to create a practical mix of storage and office accommodation on a landmark site into High Wycombe. GTH took over a design which had, had difficulty in balancing the Council desire for a landmark building at the Handy Cross junction off the M40 and the clients need for a practical, and commercially viable Self-Storage and office building.

Having reconciled these drivers, together with Harmonix Construction GTH then developed the design further to improve build-ability and protect the existing tree line facing the M40, whilst, maintaining key aspects of the design, which sets it apart from its peers, such as the high quality Office entrance, the generous garden and use of depth, and colour in the façade.
