With modest budgets we have delivered significant changes to this college, through a series of projects over a ten-year period. The initial Masterplan set up an approach to the renovation and reconfiguration of the college with phase 1 providing a ‘wow’ factor- new entrance arrangement, LRC and refectory all joined by three-dimensional visual links.

Phase 2, 3, 4 built on this providing individual schools with special areas such as the Centre for Creative Arts, a STEM centre and a Catering and Hospitality wing. Summer works projects helped rejuvenate the rest of the estate and a master plan explored collaborations with the adjacent Town Hall, to provide and finance a new construction centre and Specialist SEN provision.
